The how and the why? Rock N’ Guns was created out of love. A love for firearms, Rock N’ Roll and each other. The reality of being a business owner is that you succeed or fail by the effort and time that you are willing to put into your product. They say when you are doing something you love you never work a day in your life. I have found over the years that be it training, shooting, loading, organizing, cleaning, inventing or building anything firearms related has always brought a smile to my face. The first time I heard Brittany sing I was blown away by her beautiful and powerful voice. Throughout our years together we have traveled many states where Brittany has played venues with some amazingly talented artists and brought energy that only someone with a true gift can bring. Like my need to work with firearms, Brittany has that same passion for music, writing, singing and performing. On a road trip summer of 2020, Brittany looked at me and said “Rock N’ Guns” I looked at her dumbfounded and she replied with a smile “We are going to start our own business and we are going to call it Rock N’ Guns.” We had no idea what this business was going to be but we had a name! Now that we have our own custom Kydex holster company, our goal at Rock N’ Guns is to bring you, the customer, a multifaceted experience where you can find the perfect everyday carry holster to meet your needs and lifestyle while also bringing you original Rock N’ Roll entertainment and fun yet informative YouTube videos on our products for men and women alike.
Ryan/Owner – My love for firearms and shooting can be traced back to my childhood. At age six, my Marine Veteran father bought my first BB gun and taught me the importance of firearms safety and handling. From that point forward, my passion for firearms and shooting sports grew. Due to this as well as my love for our great nation, I enlisted in the Marine Corps at age 27, leaving behind a successful career in Residential Appraising in which money was the only motivating factor. Approximately a decade into my Marine Corps career, I met the love of my life and Rock N’ Guns Co-Owner, Brittany. We both shared the same enthusiasm for the outdoors, firearms, family and our country. From the first day we met, we have been inseparable. As the time for my third reenlistment grew closer, important decisions had to be made. The decision became easier to make when Brittany became pregnant and I chose to make family and being a father my top priority. Leaving the military after twelve years of service, comes with both its highs and lows. I knew whatever I was to conquer next in life, like the Marine Corps, I needed to have a burning passion for. After taking a couple months to review my options and help care for our newborn, we decided the best option for our family was to start our own business and when considering what business to move towards, the firearms industry was a natural choice. Custom holster manufacturing allows me to utilize my creative and artistic mind, while bringing safety and happiness to others through custom, high-quality holsters. I hope you enjoy using your custom Kydex holster as much as I enjoy building them for you.
Brittany/Co-Owner – I shot my first firearm at age 17, as I recall it was a Yugoslavia SKS and I was hooked on the thrill of that first trigger pull. Though I loved to shoot, I never owned my own carry gun until I met my husband and Co-Owner, Ryan. I had no idea about self-defense and the importance of being able to protect myself and my family. When I was 17 years old, I was attacked when I left work by a young man who they had found on security camera, stalking me for about a week prior. It’s a terrible feeling to feel helpless, scared and not knowing if your next move will be your last. I purchased a taser gun as soon as I was old enough, carried pepper spray on my keychain and placed keys between my fingers when walking in public as my only option for self defense at the time. Ryan and I’s first christmas together, he gifted me my first carry pistol, an Sig P238. This gun is still my daily carry and I never leave the house without it in my Rock N’ Guns Heavy Metal Flex Carry Holster! After training to use my pistol, my husband and I have grown to really enjoy our friendly husband/wife competitions and we hope you love our coming videos. Music has been a part of my life since I was a little girl. My father was a huge role model in my life as he was professional Musician, playing multiple instruments and later on produced all of my music. I enjoy writing and singing a variety of styles, with my main focus on Country Pop/Rock.
